Survival blogThe Survival blog was a collective writing experiment , launched by Alessandro Girola by chance, after an apocalyptic story appeared in his blog. Someone began to comment by introducing a story about him, then the "virus" spread and blogs entirely dedicated to this project appeared. After thinking about it a bit, I decided to participate and I studied a structure and a story to carry forward. I haven't opened yet another blog, I already have too many around the internet, so I created a tag for the Survival blog and every Sunday for seven Sundays I published one of my episodes.
The structure of my Survival blog I decided to give a well-defined imprint to my apocalyptic stories, so that they were easily recognizable and all had the same characteristics. This is to have homogeneity Special Data within the entire story. The title of each episode is two words. The genre follows the title : Apocalyptic tale. Each episode has a subtitle , indicating the chapter: Survival blog, chapter 1. Before the text of the story there is a quote taken from a famous novel. Below the quote there is an indication of the date on which the protagonist publishes his diary. The first-person narrative then follows . The end of the story has a sentence that takes up the title ( Livid dawn : Outside, a livid dawn barely illuminates the grayness of this lost and hopeless world.
Such a choice has pros and cons. Pros : each story can be perfectly traced back to the author, it is inserted into a precise structure that differentiates it from the others. Cons : perhaps the “spontaneous” character of a blog of this type is lost. However, I preferred to propose my stories as if they had been published in a book. I liked the idea of a series of well-packaged stories better, thus separating the spontaneity (the pure text of the story) from accompanying titles and captions (titles , quotes, etc.). I don't know whether this choice of mine is right or wrong, I'm not an editor. I have also included some photographs that I took during mountain excursions made in recent months. I never imagined that they would be useful for illustrating stories.
